May the (creative) force be with you

What happens when a teacher trades the classroom for the forest, and steps into a role where history, storytelling, and creativity collide?

In this episode, we follow Katie’s inspiring journey from traditional classroom teaching to the world of outdoor education, a shift that brought her closer to nature, creativity and personal fulfilment. She shares her experience working with The Sherwood Outlaws, a medieval stunt performance troupe that fuses historical performance with immersive storytelling, showing how creative work can connect us to the past in dynamic, engaging ways.

We also explore the ongoing challenge of balancing artistic expression with the realities of everyday life, and what it truly means to embrace uncertainty. Katie offers honest insights on the courage it takes to make bold moves, trust your instincts, and follow a less conventional path.
