Laura-Mai Edwards found herself anchoring her identity solely to her job, rather than to the core of who she truly was. This disconnection hindered her ability to recognise her own authentic capabilities and motivations, ultimately leading to a series of mental health challenges that significantly impacted her life. Laura-Mai founded Root Beginnings, an initiative that combines holistic methods of mind-body coaching, yoga, and breathwork, and now offers workshops and retreats designed to create intentional space for transformative journeys of self-discovery and deeper connection. Laura-Mai’s vision is to cultivate a global community of individuals who are deeply connected and inspired by their authentic selves, empowering and supporting one another throughout their journeys. Through her work, she aims to guide others in reconnecting with their true selves and embracing their own unique paths to wellness and fulfilment.
