BONUS EPISODE: The magic of laughter, with Amy Gill

Welcome to October's bonus episode!

Amy’s journey into laughter yoga began in 2012, shortly after she moved to the UK, where she had no extended family or friends. Struggling with intense loneliness, she fell into depression and found herself forgetting how to smile, let alone laugh. Remembering a laughter yoga workshop she attended in 2010, she decided to search for similar courses in the UK. This led her to a two-day laughter yoga course in London, where she became a certified laughter yoga leader. Since then, Amy has actively participated in various wellness events, eager to share the benefits of laughter yoga with others. In recognition of her efforts to spread joy through this practice, she received the Women & Home Amazing Women Award 2021.

Key discussion points:

  • The power of positivity and gratitude
  • Exploring laughter yoga and it's benefits
  • Creativity, storytelling and finding connection
  • The importance of self-care
