You've got a friend in me!
Welcome to this week's episode with vocal coach and my childhood friend of 30+ years, Jennifer Crowe.
From a young age, Jennifer was captivated by the power of music. At just seven years old, she attended a classical concert featuring a choir, an experience that left a lasting impression on her. In that moment, she knew she wanted to join them, to sing and connect with others through music. Jennifer sung with Cantamus Girl’s Choir and throughout her time with the choir, learned not only to sing but also to interpret music emotionally, conveying messages captured across centuries. After entering the workforce, Jennifer drifted from her musical calling. However, her 17 years working at sea provided her with a profound sense of connection akin to that found in music. Now a passionate Vocal Teacher, Jennifer is dedicated to helping others discover their singing potential across all styles. She draws on her extensive life experience to guide her students, empowering them to share the artistry they feel within the music.
Key discussion points:
- The power of long-lasting relationships and the lessons we have learnt from the women in our lives.
- The art of vocal coaching and the influence of education on creativity
- Thriving in male-dominated spaces, managing burnout and escaping reality through fantasy literature...
...and a whole lot more!
Thank you for listening!
Stay wild x
