Harnessing creativity through women’s voices
From the wisdom of women who've shaped us, to finding our voice - literally and figuratively - this episode explores the power of female friendship, creativity and resilience.
In this insightful and wide-ranging episode, we tackle the realities of thriving in male-dominated spaces, managing the emotional weight of burnout and the comfort of escaping into fantasy literature when the real world gets overwhelming. We celebrate the enduring impact of long-lasting relationships, especially the wisdom passed down from the women in our lives. We explore the transformative art of vocal coaching and how education fuels creativity, both in and out of the classroom.
It's a heartfelt, empowering and honest dialogue about growth, identity, and the many ways we find our voice.

From a young age, Jennifer was captivated by the power of music. At just seven years old, she attended a classical concert featuring a choir, an experience that left a lasting impression on her. In that moment, she knew she wanted to join them, to sing and connect with others through music. Jennifer sung with Cantamus Girl’s Choir and throughout her time with the choir, learned not only to sing but also to interpret music emotionally, conveying messages captured across centuries. After entering the workforce, Jennifer drifted from her musical calling. However, her 17 years working at sea provided her with a profound sense of connection akin to that found in music. Now a passionate Vocal Teacher, Jennifer is dedicated to helping others discover their singing potential across all styles. She draws on her extensive life experience to guide her students, empowering them to share the artistry they feel within the music.
